Our Holiday Guide to Belek

Belek is the Turkish Riviera’s luxurious paradise with first-class hotels and stunning natural beauty. The resort has beautiful beaches with warm seas that are famed as being some of the cleanest in the Mediterranean. It’s popular amongst golfers who come to tee off at the exquisite champion golf courses and attracts holidaymakers looking to lap up the lavish lifestyle.

Excellent beaches

Belek’s extravagant setting can still be seen from the sandy shores of the coast. The long stretch of golden sand shelves gently into the warm waters of the glorious Mediterranean Sea, which means children can paddle safely. Recline on sun loungers under parasols, hire a jet ski and glide across the sea or choose from the selection of water sports available.

History and culture

Belek has unique ancient surroundings and is located near some of Turkey’s most famous archaeological discoveries. If you truly want to get an insight into the heritage of the island then a visit to the ancient city of Perge is a must. Here you’ll be able to discover ruins that unhinge the lifestyle of its past residents. As well as the rich history, Belek’s landscape has transformed into several outstanding golf courses. The calming nature of this sport simply adds to the luxury feel of the resort’s five star hotels and glorious beaches.

Food and drink

Whilst there are a few bars and clubs open late, the nightlife is mainly limited to the hotels, so do check your hotel’s daily entertainment when booking.

A popular place to dine in and have a drink or two is the Gloria Pub. Attached to the Gloria Golf All Inclusive hotel, it has freshly cooked cuisine and outside seating, which is perfect for soaking up the warm summer sun. In the evening the atmosphere is livelier with music played by a live band.

Mambo Lounge is located in the middle of town, and has a friendly atmosphere for relaxed dining. Choose from a menu of world foods and a delicious selection of cocktails and drinks. As well as the impeccable service, you can also catch up with people back home by using their free Wi-Fi.
